Alexander Piano Studio is a Lawrence area piano studio offering private lessons year round. Comprehensive program for beginning & intermediate/advanced students ages 5 to adult. Piano or keyboard required. Yearly recital at Meridian Music's Munger Hall in Carmel, Indiana. A variety of genres of music are studied. Base lesson is taught using the Bastien method of Piano and Theory or similar method. Duet & ensemble opportunities provided. Supplemental tools such as flash cards, scales sheets & music software may be used to aid in theory study as well as other instruments to aid in rhythm, aural training, composition and sight reading. A classical repertoire as well as jazz, blues, contemporary, spiritual, seasonal & popular sheet music is studied, as well as other styles.
